Mbuyelo Resources currently boasts three operations with one new operation to be opened in the next three months. Mbuyelo Resources has partnered with highly reputable companies, one of which is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, and another is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange; one is a steel company in India which is also an operator of an Independent Power Plant in its own country. Our knowledge combined with these partners’ knowledge and expertise adds major benefit to the development of our company and its skills set. To date we have coal reserves of almost 1 billion tons of coal that can be sold to the local thermal and metallurgical industry as well as the export industry.
We are currently exploring on the remainder of our assets within the resources portfolio, which will add on to the current portfolio of projects which are in the pipeline of becoming fully fledged mining operations.
OPERATIONS
Camden
‘Camden- or Usuthu colliery’, is the old Usuthu mine, located in ERMELO- Mpumalanga. Camden Colliery is located 5 kilometers away from the Camden power station and makes it a good strategic project to supply the Eskom Camden Power station.
We are currently supplying over 80 000 tons per month of coal run of mine (ROM) to the inland market who wash the coal and export it via Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT) and Maputo port.
The total reserve at Usuthu is estimated at over hundred million tons (100 000 000) in-situ, which comprises around 15 million tons open cast blocks and the rest underground. It is with teamwork that many dreams have been achieved. It is therefore no surprise, that Mbuyelo Resources (Pty) Ltd, has succeeded this far, backed by joint-ventures, with upstanding companies such as IMEC (-International Mineral Energy Consultants) and Liketh Investments (Pty) Ltd.

Eloff
“Eloff” is nickname to the Eloff Colliery, situated on the farms Weilaagte 271 IR and Welgevonden 272 IR. It is also situated in the Delmas area of the Mpumalanga Province, South Africa. In a joint venture with Homeland Energy Group (Ltd), Mbuyelo Resources (Pty) Ltd managed to clench the new-order mining right as per the Minerals and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA), which basically states that...
The total resource on the project is predicted to carry over 580 million tons of coal, in-situ. The coal in Eloff is such that it would require an independent power plant (IPP), and as a result, one can comprehend that operations would be more in the future as opposed to the other mining rights Mbuyelo is involved in. At the moment, feasibility studies are being conducted and strategies being implemented to take advantage of this rich reserve.

Elandspruit:
The Elandspruit Colliery (-“Elandspruit”) is situated on Route 555 in Middelburg, and is made up of portions 67, 68 and 69 of the farm Elandspruit 291 JS. Talking technical, this reserve is relatively low in phosphorus with an estimated 23CV and 26% ash content. The operation is the first to be mined by Mbuyelo Mining Contractors (Pty) Ltd and managed under the Zidromarc (Pty) Ltd umbrella. Elandspruit is currently producing 60 000 tons of coal a month, ramping up to 80 000 tons, and we are expecting to be steady at 100 000 tons per month.
